Pete H. Johnson

Pete H. Johnson, 95, passed away March 30, 2001. Preceded in death by his wife, Lucille Johnson, on February 12, 1996. Pete was the last of seven children. Among his siblings who preceded him in death are his brothers, Olaf and Ebert, who were Pete's business partners in the Johnson Bicycle and Key Shop. Born June 21, 1905, in Lindsborg, Kansas. Pete was a member of First United Methodist Church where he served as an usher and on many committees. He was also a life member of B.P.O. Elks, Lodge No. 90. He will lie in state at the funeral home today from 2 until 5 p.m. and Monday from 9 a.m. until noon. Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, April 2, 2001, at First United Methodist Church, 11th & Court, with Pastor Gene Hagerman officiating. Elks Service and interment will follow at Mountain View Cemetery. Those who desire, may make memorials to First United Methodist Church through the funeral home.
