Peggy J. Kurtz, 80, passed away on June 19, 2006. Survived by her children, Mary Anne (Robert) Brazil of Pueblo, John (Janet) Kurtz of Denver, Barbara Jane (Jack) Henderson of Pueblo, Jim (Susan) Kurtz of Denver, Jeff (Mona) Kurtz of Pueblo, Mike (Christi) Kurtz of Pueblo; brother, Pat Finlay of Petaluma, CA; 12 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. Preceded in death by her husband, George W. Kurtz, Jr.; son, George W. Kurtz, III; sister, Jane Wyman; and parents. Peggy was born October 19, 1925, in Salida, Colo., to Gilbert and Edna Finlay. She was a member of Christ The King catholic church, the church Woman's Society, Beta Sigma Phi Sorority and Assistance League of Pueblo. There will be no viewing. Mass of Christian Burial 10:00 a.m. Friday, June 23, 2006 at Christ the King Catholic Church, 1708 Horseshoe Drive, with the Rev. Father Tom Adrians as celebrant. Interment will follow at 2:00 p.m. Friday at Fairview Cemetery, Salida, Colorado. Services under the direction of Lewis and Glenn Funeral Home in Salida.
