Jack Parsons, 83, passed away Dec. 22, 2012. Survived by his wife, Joan Parsons; daughters, Marilee (Wendell) Crook of Beech Grove, Ind., Pam (Richard) Matt of Greeley and Lori (Larry) Karl of Erie, Colo.; seven grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. Jack was born to Paul and Marion Parsons on April 19, 1929, in Pueblo. He was a Realtor for 29 years.
There will no viewing. Cremation, Montgomery & Steward Crematorium. Service, 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 29, 2012, at First Presbyterian Church, 10th and Court St., with the Reverend Scott VanderWal officiating. I played football (skinny left guard) under Coach Parsons and he was a tremendous character influence in my life. I remember him with gratitude. Bob Cardinal(e) PCH Class of 1957.
Joan et al … i am sorry to learn of Jack’s passing … he was a great teacher, coach, and mentor … I credit him with imparting many values that have served me well in life and through several careers … he did it by example.
