March 23, 1940 ~ August 3, 2021

Born in: Redwing, CO
Resided in: Pueblo, CO

Patsy L. Myers, 81, born March 23, 1940, in Red Wing, Colo. passed away peacefully on August 3, 2021, of heart complications. She started out as a waitress at Kings Crown and worked her way up to being a very successful mortgage lender. Having made most of the loans in Pueblo West. She worked in this field for over 20 years and made many friendships along the way. Then on to a new adventure, opening Aspen Square Liquor store, which she ran with her husband, Duane and son, Dayle for 18 years. Pat enjoyed her garden! She was a master gardener, so her garden is filled with many beautiful plants and flowers from all over Colorado and New Mexico. She also loved going to the “Cabin” built by her and her boys. Every year there was a new “WE” project. Duane just had to figure out how to build it, with many discussions over a cold beer. Pat also loved to travel. She liked the beach, but didn’t swim, also loved going to far away places. Patsy loved her animals. Horses, dogs and cats (Stanley and Wee One, her current favorites.) She was also a member of the Red Hat Society and Peakview Pixies. She is survived by husband of 63 years, Duane; son, Dayle (Robin); grandsons, Derek and Devin (Lara); former daughter-in-law, Jen; three great-granddaughters, Emma Sofie and Hazel; and several nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by parents, Frank and Josephine Sanders; and brother, Frank. A celebration of life will be announced at a later date. Donations may be made to the Master Gardener’s Scholarship Fund in her name. Online condolences, www.MontgomerySteward.com
