Patrick L. 'Irish' Cox, 52, passed away August 25, 2006. Survived by his wife of 30 years, Pam Cox; children, Tawna (Jasson Upton) Cox of Pueblo and Shawndra (Todd Parks) Cox of Marietta, Ohio; mother, Patricia Cox of Pueblo; siblings, Jerry (Nath) Cox, Michael (Donna) Cox and Sandi (Harvey) Cox-Koshak, all of Pueblo; grandson, Hagen Patrick Upton; numerous nieces and nephews; and special niece and nephew, Tennille and Chance Stone. Preceded in death by his father, Lloyd Cox in 1992. Pat was born May 10, 1954, in Pueblo. His priority in life was hunting and fishing and in his spare time he operated his business, Cox Construction. He enjoyed his newest and best trophy, his grandson, Hagen. There will be no viewing. Cremation, Montgomery & Steward Crematorium. As per Pat's request, there will be no service, instead there will be a celebration of his life, 1 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 29, 2006, at the family home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation through Montgomery & Steward Funeral Directors, 1317 N. Main Street, Pueblo, Colorado 81003.   4. It has been so many years. I fondly remember the goose which used to bite me every time I came to the Cox household. I remember all 3 boys at the swimming pool. And the trip that Sandi and I made to Oklahoma. May God bless all of your family in this time of celebration of Patrick’s life. My heart goes out to Pam, as I can relate after losing my husband in 1992. I’m sure I’ll think of Patrick every time I go elk hunting. I will never forget the fond high school memories at the Cox household. God bless all of you.

  6. Pam we were so sorry to hear your lose. Sorry we can’t make for the memorial service at your home. We are in kinda bad health. I am in a wheelchair & on oxygen. But please know that our thoughts are with you. Evewn tho we haven’t seen you for so long we still think of you. We would love to see you & would love it if you stopped by sometime. Although our paths have not crossed for a few years, I will miss Pat in my life. Pat was a terrific person and I considered him a friend and pal.
