Patricia Ann Estrada, 72, was born on June 29, 1951, in Pueblo, Colo., and passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, July 6, 2023.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Dave Estrada; daughter, Nicole Solano; parents, Charles and Lucille Apodaca; and siblings, Daniel and Sandra.

Pat is survived by her daughter, Sandra Apodaca; grandsons, Justin, Jordan, and Isaiah; two special great-grandkids, DJ and Serenity; sister, Bernadette (Val) Martinez; nephews, Tom (Shanna) Roldan and Paul Roldan; nieces, Shona (Gary) Albo, Tanya (Chris) Salazar and Andrea (Johnny) Martinez; as well as several great nieces, great nephews, and cousins.

Pat retired from Safeway after working for 40 years. She loved going to Bingo and Cripple Creek, watching wrestling and was a dedicated Broncos fan. But above all, Pat loved spending time with her grandkids, great-grandkids. Mommy and Gate Gammie will be greatly and forever missed.

  5. I was surprised to see Pat’s photo this morning. She and I were friends many years ago, until the 29th Safeway was closed. We were first friends when we worked together at the Abriendo Passkey. We both were hired when is was first opened in 1979. Blessings to Pat and her family. Barb Bernard

  6. Sending prayers to Sandra and the whole family for your loss of Pat. I will always remember Pat driving me & Sandy to dance class after kindergarten at Spann Elementary. I also remember throughout elementary school she would always go on field trips with us to be one of the chaperones.

This was such a shock to me when I received the message from Sandy that her mother had passed away because the last I knew she was doing fairly good although she has been suffering for a long time and Sandy I know you will miss her so so much as you have cared for her for so many years take care, and I send my love.
