Patricia J. Califano, 81, passed away Jan. 21, 2012. Preceded in death by her husband, John A. Califano. Survived by numerous nieces, nephews and other loving family members. Patricia was born to Lloyd and Lillian Gordanier on Sept. 13, 1930, in Denver. She graduated from Denver University Nursing School and was involved in the Pueblo nursing community for many years.
Funeral Mass, 10 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 26, 2012, at St. Mary Church, 307 E. Mesa Ave., with the Rev. Father Ben Bacino as celebrant. Interment, Roselawn Cemetery. Pat was such a sweet and caring person. I had the pleasure of talking with her and singing for her many times. She will be missed, and I’m sorry for her loss.

I met Pat at the Regency, where my mother also lived. She was so kind to my mother. She was definitely a special person who will be missed by all who knew her. God bless her and her friends and family,
We have lost a beautiful rose in our family. I know she is happy to be in Heaven with Uncle Johnny. We will remember all the happy memories and positive influences she gave to us. May God bless us as we lean into HIS loving arms during this time of loss.
