Patricia Dawn (Roberson) Ricks, 73, passed away June 14, 2017. Patricia is forever loved and survived by her four(4) children, Cindy, Jerri, Sammi and her son John, loving brothers Clifford Roberson Jr. and Sammy Bayes and numerous nieces and nephews who she loved dearly. Her grandchildren Amanda, Maggie, Tyerail, Athena, Jonathon, Jeramy, Christian, Julian and adopted by love, Sara. Her great grandchildren Khya, Zaya, Ethan, Emma, Michael, Ciana, Jeramy, Molly, Blake, Isabella, Stormy, Chloe, Gracie Ray, Gretchen and adopted by love Jacob. Preceded in death by her parents, Clifford and Zana Roberson and husband of 52 years, Everett S. Ricks. Born, July, 15 1943 in Pueblo. As a young mother of her eldest two daughters, Patricia acquired her High School equivalency and immediately put herself through school obtaining her Associates Degree as a psychiatric technician. Patricia utilized her training and education in many different positions and opportunities eventually ending up working at the State Hospital. Along the way Patricia met and married love of her life, Everett later sharing a son and daughter. Patricia would eventually retire in 1983 to take care of her son John who was severely injured in an accident. Patricia was an accomplished artist, a humanitarian, a devout Christian, a selfless soul and aspiring novelist. Cremation, Montgomery & Steward Crematorium. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Those who desire may send memorials may be sent to Montgomery & Steward Funeral Directors, 1317 N. Main St., Pueblo, CO 81003, to help defray funeral expenses.
