Opal May Bryson

Opal May Bryson, 92, passed away Dec. 12, 2014. Survived by children, Connie McDonald, Mitzi Duncan and Trudy Jensen; grandchildren, Jeffery Bryson, Rachael Salter, Aaron Salter, Duane McDonald, Chester McDonald, Lindsay Stevens, Kala Skinner, Dakota Duncan, Shaun Jensen and Daisy Jensen; and seven great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by her husband, Chester Theron Bryson; son Marion Ray Bryson; and grandson, Dusty Wallace. Opal was born to Herschel and Dorothy Pearle Talley on Nov. 2, 1922, in Overbrook, Kans. She was a teacher for over 25 years in the Atchison School District, Atchison, Kans. Opal enjoyed playing the organ, camping, crafts and was a member of the Eastern Star, Kiwanis and National Camping Travelers. Cremation, Montgomery & Steward Crematorium.
