Norman H. Reinartsen, 75, passed away Feb. 8, 2008. Norman was born July 1, 1932, in Jersey City, N.J., moved to Pueblo West, Colo., 15 years ago. Norman was a graduate of Irvington High School, N.J., attended a two year college for draftsmanship and retired from the former Lummus Company in New Jersey, where he was an engineer for 30 years. He served in the Navy for four years and also in the USAF reserves for nine years. He was treasurer of the Bell's Fort Free Trappers and Muzzle Loaders Club in Pueblo. Norman was preceded in death by his parents, Hazel and Otto Reinartsen. He is survived by his beloved wife of 48 years, Doris; sons, Scott (Susan) of Virginia and Chris of North Carolina; daughter, Lisa (Ron Rowe) Reinartsen of Pueblo; sister, Lois (Joseph) Garsick of New Jersey; grandchildren, Brandon and Sarah Vigil, Conner and Kyle Rowe, and Amanda and Erik Reinartsen; nieces and nephews, Kimberly and Bryan Mazza, Dean Garsick, Kim and Jim Danser. A memorial service will be held 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 13, 2008, in the Montgomery & Steward Chapel concluding with military honors by Pueblo Veterans' Ritual Team.
