Norma J. DeVries. Sunrise November 30, 1919; Sunset March 13, 2004. Norma was called home peacefully at her home with her family at her side. She is preceded in death by son-in-law, Bernie Montoya; and daughter, Emma DeVries. Norma leaves to cherish her daughter and long term caregiver, Linda (Dr.Patrick) Timms of the family home, Gladys (Tom) Sorg, Naomi Davidson, Eugene (Marion) and Ray Benavidez. Also survived by her grandchildren, Jeff (Dana), Bryan (Courtney), Kristal, Kyle Montoya, Matt Vigil, Patrick, Michael (Laura), Tim Sorg, Abigale (Aaron) Brown, Hope (Lee) Ranel and John Mark (Joy) Davidson; sister-in-law, Emma (Eugene) Herman; great-grandchildren, Tamara Sorg, Rayanna, Timothy, Mark Ranel, Andrew, Micah and Israel Davidson. Norma attended Family Worship Center and was active in the Singles Ministry friends: Cynthia Martinez, Cindy Brown, Bonnie Miller, Judy Morley, Larry Buckholz, Phyllis Hawk, Pastor David, Charissa Smith and John and Elaine Padilla. Her special 'babies' Micah, Juda Harrington and Darian Montoya. Norma had a zest for life. She was the last living of her siblings. At her request, cremation has taken place.
