Nellie 'LaVonne' Bothwell, 77, went to be with the Lord on Jan. 6, 2008. Survived by children, Jeri Bothwell, Buddy D. Bothwell, Debbie (David) Watkins, and Leila Bothwell all of Pueblo; sister, Hazel Colby of Red Cloud, NE; 10 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her husband, Bud H. Bothwell. Born to Frank and Nellie (nee Stethem) Montey on July 9, 1930, in Red Cloud, NE. LaVonne was the administrative assistant for the family business Bud Bothwell Stucco for 53 years. LaVonne was an active member of West Street Baptist Church. Viewing from 2 to 6 p.m. Thursday at Montgomery & Steward Funeral Directors. Funeral service will be held noon, Saturday, Jan. 12, 2008, at West Street Baptist Church, 1001 West St., with Pastor Doug Morris officiating. Interment, Imperial Memorial Gardens.   6. Thanks for everyones love, prayers and support before Grandma’s passing and now. She was a wonderful Grandmother, mother and best friend. I will miss our phone calls and her advice just as I have with grandpa. Knowing she was loved by so many makes me very proud to be her granddaughter! I can’t wait until the day I see her and other loved ones again! I love you grandma and family!

  8. I am so sorry to hear about Aunt LaVonne passing away. She was a very nice person. I can’t think of one time she said anything bad about someone. Now she is with Uncle Bud and Dad (Rex) and they can reminence about all their loved ones. My prayers are with all of you.
