Nancy Theresa Spinuzzi, born July 6, 1949, passed away Dec. 20, 2009, after a courageous battle with cancer. She is preceded in death by her parents, Michael and Anna Giglio. She is survived and very much loved by her children, Christy (Gerald) Madrid and Frank (Pebbles) Spinuzzi; her special grandchildren, Clayton, Shayla and Derek Madrid; great-granddaughter, Salma; siblings, Mike (Valerie) Giglio, Rose Janni and Clara (Cam Weatherford) Colletti; nieces and nephews, Angela (Alex) Krinsky, Dena (Cory) Vetta, Mike Giglio (Herb Quintana), Nic Giglio (Anita Martinez) and Brett Giglio; great nieces and nephews, Julianna and Aaron Krinsky, Bella Vetta and Rocco Giglio; special sister-in-law, Dee Giglio; and numerous other relatives and friends. Nancy worked for 29th Street Safeway Deli for over 25 years. Her family and friends meant the world to her. She loved family gatherings. She loved to give of herself to always help others and those around her. Nancy had a strong faith and relationship with her Lord. She will be deeply missed by those who loved and knew her. Special thanks to Dr. Settipani and staff at Rocky Mountain Cancer Center and Sangre de Cristo Hospice. Viewing from noon to 6 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home with the family present from 4 to 6 p.m. Funeral Mass, 11 a.m. Sat., Dec. 26, 2009, at St. Pius X, 3130 Morris Ave. Interment at Roselawn Cemetery.   4. The memories I have of Nancy are so very heart warming. She was very special to so many. She shared her glowing spirit will all who knew her. I was sorry that I did not know of her cancer and was not there to lend a hand. I do know that Nancy loved the Lord and is in a better place and at peace. I want to express my deepest sympathy to her dear family as they learn to live without her presence. I would also like to thank Christy for contacting me about her mother’s death.

    Nancy was one of the kindest people I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. Many times she and Patty would be receiving chemo together and she would always be concerned with everyone else. I found her to be positive and amazing. I, as others, are blessed to have had her cross our paths. You are all in my prayers.

    You and yours are in my prayers. My heart knows your pain but you must remember she is in a much better place. You know with her committted faith she is with our Lord.   17. Nancy and I became friends in our beauty college days. Nancy was caring,loving,kind,giving and we shared many happy times.Because of Nancy,Mike and Anna caring for my oldest son. I was able to complete beauty college. Their loving caring ways made it possible for me to support my son.Knowing the Giglio family taught me how to become a much better person. Nancy will be truly missed by all who were fortunate to have known her. Kathy
