Nancy P. Horton, 68, of Pueblo, Colo., passed away July 23, 2005. Survived by her husband, Bill Horton of Boone; children, Sandra Lynn (Jack) Crook of Boone, Rebecca Ann (Mark) Dome of Pueblo and Thomas (Erlinda) Horton of Boone; grandchildren, Stephanie and James (Deana) Crook, Paden and Devan Dome, Brian, Zackary, Jessica and Christopher Horton; and great-grandchild, James Alan Crook. Preceded in death by her son, Michael D. Horton, on Dec. 20, 2000; and granddaughter, Tracy Lynn Alsteen. Nancy was born to Kelso and Anna Powell on Oct. 2, 1936, in Olathe, Colo. In 1992, she retired from Colo. State Hospital as a registered nurse after 33 years of service. Member of Liberty Baptist Church and Greeters Club. Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Thursday, July 28, 2005, at Liberty Baptist Church, 2207 W. 29th, with the Reverend Steven Thacker officiating. Interment will follow at Mountain View Cemetery.
