Nancy Loriene Coffey, 79, passed away on June 19, 2014, in Pueblo, Colo. She is survived by her loving husband, Ed Coffey; children, Gary (Jackie) Bachelor, Jody (Jim) Stonebraker, Karen (Bill) Plymell; step-children, Chuck (Kathy) Coffey, Pam (Alan) Urban, Tammy (Doug) Magoon; 11 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; brothers, Bill Rhodes and Gene (Sharon) Oliver; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Preceded in death by parents; step-mother, Rosetta Bochiere; sister, Ginger Bear; husband, Larry Bachelor; and special pet, Rockie. Nancy was born June 28, 1934, in Kansas City, Kan. to Loriene Mitchell and Guy Bochiere. Growing up in Kansas City, she was a self-proclaimed tomboy and developed her life-long love for baseball and animals, especially dogs. Nancy completed two years of nurse's training before marrying Larry Bachelor and moving to Colorado. Raising her children in Pueblo, Nancy was very involved in family life with sports, camping, 4-H and church. She worked as an assistant director of Headstart for most of her life in Pueblo, retiring as a medical transcriptionist while living in Englewood, Colo. Nancy loved traveling, and rooting on the Rockies and the Broncos. She was a member of SonRise Church in Pueblo West where she had many dear friends, and where she met Ed Coffey, whom she married in 2009. Nancy cherished her entire family, and especially delighted in spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren whenever she could. Memorial service will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, June 25, 2014, at SonRise Church, 421 E. Spaulding Ave., in Pueblo West. In lieu of food and flowers, memorials may be made to SonRise Church, 421 E. Spaulding Ave., Pueblo West, CO 81007 or Joni Fair Sangre de Cristo Hospice, 1207 Pueblo Blvd. Way, Pueblo, CO 81005.
