Nancy Jean George

It is with great sadness Nancy Jean George, 79, passed away suddenly on Sunday, May 10, 2026. She was born on September 10, 1946, to John and Angela Mehle, who preceded her in death. Her brother, Gary Mehle, also recently passed away on June 30, 2026.

Nancy is survived by her husband and best friend of 59 years, Garry George; sister-in-law, Janice Mehle; nephew, Michael (Jane) Mehle; niece, Jenna (Garrett) Quintana; great-nieces, McKenna and Addison Mehle; great-nephew, Jack Mehle; and numerous dear cousins and friends.

Nancy dedicated 43 years to Colorado Bumper Exchange, where she worked as the office manager before retiring. Outside of work, she and Garry shared a wonderful life together filled with travel and attending countless street rod shows. They made many special memories along the way, enjoying the places they visited and, most importantly, the time they spent together.

Nancy will be remembered for the love she shared with her family and the special place she held in the lives of those closest to her. Her sudden passing leaves a deep sadness, and she will be dearly missed.
