Nancy (Dupps) Colglazier, 85, passed away April 29, 2026. Nancy (Dupps) Colglazier born on August 4, 1940, passed away peacefully surrounded by the love of her family. She leaves behind a legacy defined by devotion, service, and a deeply caring heart.
Nancy is survived by her husband, Norm; sister, CJ (Buzz) Schoenbeck; her daughters, Terri (Tim) Garnett and Cindy Gradishar; her cherished grandchildren, Kristin Garnett, Kori (Samer) Mukayess, Jenny (Theo) Lebow and Alexander (Julie) Gradishar; and great-grandchildren, Kinslee, Indy, Cooper, Ivy, Sophie, Emillia, Kole and soon to be grandson; numerous nieces and nephews.
Her family was the center of her world, and she took immense pride in supporting them in every way possible. Whether cheering from the sidelines or simply sitting by with a warm smile, her presence was a constant source of comfort and love.
She was preceded in death by her parents, L. Charles and Opal (Stum) Dupps; her sister, Charla Lindsay; her in-laws, Sid and Berneil Colglazier; and her brother-in-law, Sid Colglazier.
Nancy grew up attending Park View Elementary, Risley, and Centennial High School, graduating in 1958. She went on to spend 30 dedicated years with the Pueblo Board of Water Works, where she served as Supervisor of Billing. Nancy was known for her strong work ethic, reliability, and the respect she earned from colleagues throughout her years of service.
A woman of faith and service, Nancy volunteered at St. Paul Methodist Church and First United Methodist Church, and was an active member of Assistance League of Pueblo. She was also a member of PEO Chapter AU/DU, where she formed lasting friendships and supported opportunities for women through education.
While she may not have been known for her cooking, she will be remembered for her generous spirit, kind heart, infectious giggle and the love she shared so freely with others.
The family would like to thank Miss Rita her Visiting Angel and Miss Shelby her hospice nurse for the love and care that you gave to our wife, Mom and Gram. Your time and energy were much appreciated.
A celebration of life will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, May 8th, in the Montgomery & Steward Funeral Chapel. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Assistance League of Pueblo, PEO Chapter AU/DU or Sangre de Cristo Hospice, in honor of Nancy’s life and legacy.
