Nancy Ann Whitman, 77, of Pueblo West, passed away April 20, 2018, with her family by her side. Nancy was born October 21, 1940, in Granite City, Illinois to Truman and Dolly Shelton. She is survived by her loving family -- husband, Neil Whitman; children, Sherri (Jim) Richardson, Michael Robins, Joey (Maria) Robins, Greg (Leanne) Whitman, Mark (Michelle) Whitman, Beth (Tim) Williams; sister, Donna (J. Y.) Fitzhugh; grandchildren, Justin (Lindsay), Stefanie (Jake), Dylan, Haley, Tucker, Reyna, Arlo, Chris, Nicole; great-grandchildren, Emma, Jackson, Avery and Lyric, and several nieces and nephews, special friend Henna Busboom, numerous other friends, and beloved Yorkie, Teddy. Preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Robert Shelton; grandson, Yeti; nephews, Phillip and Tommy. Nancy worked as a medical receptionist at Southern Colorado Clinic for many years, and retired as a travel agent. Nancy was a travel agent for Regency Travel and co-owner of Access to Travel. Nancy loved to travel. She was able to visit Mexico, China, Prague, Egypt, Scotland, Ireland, Italy, Hawaii, Alaska and many other places in the 'Good Ol' USA.' Her and Neil's favorite were the trips they took to Hawaii. Her favorite vacations as a child were the annual family fishing trips to her uncle's house in Minnesota. Nancy loved the holidays and decorated her house for each holiday and season. Christmas was her favorite, and every inch of her house was meticulously and beautifully decorated. She loved to have her Christmas Eve open house inviting family and friends. Nancy also loved to cook and entertain, and no one did it better than her. She loved to shop, and was a master at picking out the perfect gift for a friend or loved one. Nancy loved her family and friends and went out of her way to make each person feel special. A memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, April 24, 2018, in the Montgomery & Steward Chapel. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to CASA of Pueblo, 130 W. Love you Gram. I will never forget all the wonderful memories you gave us growing up. Your place was my ultimate favorite place to go to. I will never forget. You were the best grandmother and great grandmother a girl could ask for, & with a heavy heart I just hope you know how much you meant to me and how much you are missed. I love you “sweetheart”..

Ken and I are so sorry about the loss of Nancy. She was a great person! She always had a smile for everybody! She was a great traveling companion too! We will miss our trips.

I am very sorry for your loss. Nancy was a great person and a wonderful travelling companion. Rick and I wish we could have taken more trips with her and Neil. She was truly a generous and kind person and heaven will be getting a great petite angel.
