Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. Thank you for being the light and joy to all who knew you. Nancy, I’m giving a quilt to Ronald McDonald House in your memory. You’d approve, the fabric is a pretty lime green with a poem that reads. “When it’s raining share your umbrella. When it’s sunny and bright share your light.” Thank you Nancy for sharing your light. I’m privileged to be just one of many.

  2. Nancy will be missed greatly. I will always remember her as a positive and caring person. She will never be forgotten and will be remembered for her kindness and big heart. We have truly lost an angel on this Earth, but make no mistake, heaven has gained an incredible soul. We love you and you will forever be in our hearts!

  3. Nancy was an amazing person. I’ve known Nancy since our school years at Shawnee in Lima, Ohio. Then as life would have it she went all over the world and landed in Colorado and I landed in Florida. Everytime she had to come to Florida with her job we always made it a point to meet up. Then 2 yrs. ago her and the love of her life Dave came to visit my husband and I and we spent the afternoon eating lunch at the beach. I will always cherish that time, little did I know I wouldn’t see Nancy in person again.
God intervened and decided it was time for Nancy to come to her Heavenly Home.
I know how greatly missed she will be by Dave, Lisa and Erin. And I pray for their peace and comfort as they go through these days that are ahead of them.
My husband and I send our deepest condolences to Nancy’s family and friends.

    Until we meet again Nancy….
    Rest In Heavenly Peace ❤️

  4. I had the pleasure of meeting Nancy through my daughter in law Lisa, and my son Harold. She was there for one of my sons military ceremonies, and I also enjoyed a mother’s day get together with her and her family. She was a positive, supportive and beautiful women. She will be missed.

  5. I met Nancy when Lisa and I were teenagers in high school in Holland. In 2013, I moved to CO and found Nancy, Lisa and Erin after many years. My husband got deployed right away for a year and Nancy quickly included me in family events. She treated like one of her daughters and was like a mother to me. We shared some of my best memories in life with holidays, birthdays and family get-togethers. She’s an amazing woman and has raised strong, intelligent, beautiful girls. Anyone who has spent time with her is blessed to have had the chance. Her laughter and positivity were contagious. There are no words for how much she will be missed.

  6. So sorry to hear of Nancy’s passing. My deepest sympathy to everyone in her family. I knew her in high school in Lima and hung out together after college. She was the best. Always smiling.

  7. I won’t lie I’m going to miss her so very much. But I will not be sad I shall only look back on are memories together and smile at all are fun times we had. And I shall never forget you saying how I was your adopted grandchild ❤️‍🩹I had fun gardening, going to the pool, going to events with you and even helping you move was super fun. You home was like my mom away from home. My safe haven from all the craziness and I thank you and I only wish I could have visited you again. But I all ways said “we arnt hear for a long time only a fun time” I wish your family welll and I can’t wait to meet you again one day in heaven ❤️‍🩹

  8. My first memories of Nancy were of my little sister Janets good buddy in Lima Ohio. Years past and Janet and I reconnected as adults with Nancy in Colorado. She was such a wonderful, warm human being. So bright so much fun and so loving. All her knew her were blessed by her intellect and her wonderful sense of humor and her compassion. My deepest condolences go to her family and loved ones. I will pray for the day when memories of her instead of bringing tears bring laughter and only the most wonderful memories. I am too far away to be at the funeral in person, but I will be watching and sharing, the zoom of the service.

  11. Worked with Nancy for years at Fort Carson, she was always bigger than life and so generous with her time in service to others, especially soldiers and their families. She was so proud of her daughters and blessed to have found David again after she retired. Our hearts go out to all her family and friends, she will be greatly missed.

  14. Nancy was a wonderful friend and will be greatly missed. We met in Germany in 1987 as we lived in the hotel waiting for government quarters. We knew Lisa and Erin when they were young (I babysat them). I am so grateful to have known Nancy and to have had her as a lifelong friend. Thoughts and prayers to Dave and all of Nancy’s loved ones at this time.

  15. Lisa, Erin and David my prayers go out to you. Nancy will be missed. I enjoyed being with her listening to music in the past. Nancy was creative and fun she made the most out of life.
I know she will make heaven a joyful place with her laughter.

  16. Much love to you Erin and Lisa. No words describe the feeling of loss when the spirit of the woman who gave you life leaves this earth. She is dancing, swimming and quilting in heaven now with those who arrived before her, all in the presence of our Savior, our God. May His comfort surround you and be a soft landing when the pain is great.
