Moshe Michael E. Atencio, 62, passed away unexpectedly on May 24, 2017. Leaving behind his daughter, Michele Atencio; son, Michael Atencio; mother, Patricia Baltimore; grandchildren, Mavrick, Michael, Monet, Melachi; sisters, Debbie Atencio and Dorothy Atencio; and brother, Mark Atencio. Preceded in death by his father, Ernest Atencio; siblings, Moses, Matthew and Dolores Atencio. Moshe was born to Ernest Atencio and Patricia Baltimore on February 22, 1955, in Colorado Springs, Colo. and worked for the Denver & Rio Grande Railroad from 1975 until his retirement. He enjoyed being with his family, studying the Torah, cooking and watching CU Football. Moshe was a generous man with a kind heart for those in need. His generous donations helped Jews return to the Holy Land. Funeral service, 2:00 p.m. Sunday, May 28, 2017, in the Montgomery & Steward Chapel. Interment, B'Nai Jacob Cemetery.
