Mildred Irene McGregor, 91, passed away on June 3, 2009. She is survived by her sons, Gilbert (Audrey) McGregor, Richard McGregor and Donald (Kattie) McGregor; 13 grandchildren; 42 great-grandchildren; 16 great-great grandchildren; and her special daughter-in-law, Martha McGregor, who gave her many years of loving care. Preceded in death by her husband, Leeman Curtis McGregor; and daughter, Gwendolyn Sue. Mildred was born October 21, 1917, in Wichita, Kansas, to Lee and Emma Palmitier. She was a member of Parkhill Baptist Church. She loved teaching her Sunday school classes for children and she loved music. Viewing, 1 to 5 p.m. Friday at Montgomery & Steward Funeral Directors. Funeral service, 12:30 p.m. Saturday, June 6, 2009, at Parkhill Baptist Church, 4235 Parkhill Place, with Pastor Doug Cox and Pastor Steve Holcomb officiating. Entombment, Mountain View Cemetery Chapel Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Justin Fund through Parkhill Baptist Church. Online condolences, www.montgomerysteward.com

  1. Martha, so sorry to hear about your mother-in-law. You always spoke fondly of her and I always thought she was a lovely lady for you to have such high regards. You are in my prayers.

I always looked forward to seeing her when our churches gathered together. Though it has been along time since I have seen her, she always asked about me. I always sent my love to her through my messanger. She is with the Lord, and Heaven is a joyous place now. God Bless you all.
