Mildred Irene McGregor, 91, passed away on June 3, 2009. She is survived by her sons, Gilbert (Audrey) McGregor, Richard McGregor and Donald (Kattie) McGregor; 13 grandchildren; 42 great-grandchildren; 16 great-great grandchildren; and her special daughter-in-law, Martha McGregor, who gave her many years of loving care. Preceded in death by her husband, Leeman Curtis McGregor; and daughter, Gwendolyn Sue. Mildred was born October 21, 1917, in Wichita, Kansas, to Lee and Emma Palmitier. She was a member of Parkhill Baptist Church. She loved teaching her Sunday school classes for children and she loved music. Viewing, 1 to 5 p.m. Friday at Montgomery & Steward Funeral Directors. Funeral service, 12:30 p.m. Saturday, June 6, 2009, at Parkhill Baptist Church, 4235 Parkhill Place, with Pastor Doug Cox and Pastor Steve Holcomb officiating. I always looked forward to seeing her when our churches gathered together. Though it has been along time since I have seen her, she always asked about me.
