Michael 'Mike' Rose, 76, passed away April 27, 2016. Survived by his wife, Debbie; his children and step children, Debbie(Dan) Brown, John Ross, Chad(Josephine) Perkins, Curtis(Amber) Perkins, and Cory Rose; sister, Pat(Bob) Archibald; and ten special grandchildren. Preceded in death by his parents, Victor and Sally Rose. Mike was born on Oct. 31, 1939, in Toledo, Ohio. He was a contract mail carrier in Pueblo West for 30 years and was the owner of the Beulah General Store. Mike enjoyed building model railroads and riding motorcycles. He was a member and past president of Chapter N Goldwing Club. There will be no viewing. Cremation, Montgomery & Steward Crematorium. Memorial service, 5 p.m. Thursday, May 5, 2016, at Beulah Community Center, 5927 Pennsylvania Ave. Memorials may be made to Frontier Hospice or BEST, support organization for Beulah School, through Montgomery & Steward Funeral Directors, 1317 N. Debbie, Cory and family I am so sorry for your loss. This is a loss for allot of people. Mike was loved by many . Mike was my first friend I made when I moved to Colorado almost 20 years ago. I got into the Post Office when I first started working for him, delivering part of his route. He was a friend, at times a father figure. I remember when Cory was 8 and sitting on the stool there watching Mike case his route or reading a book. Mike would have the biggest Grin when I told him Cory looked so much like him. He was usually my annual trip to pick up a Halloween Birthday Card.
I love you Mike and your family for sharing you with us all at the Post Office . You are missed. �😘
