Melburn 'Mud' Coy, 89, born Dec. 10, 1929, to Everett and Evelyn (Hansen) Coy, died July 22, 2019. He was a lifelong Pueblo resident. Mel worked in the Coy Family Trucking business, Payne's Lanes and Bowlero. He worked many years as a service technician for Sears, retiring in 1992. Mel enjoyed fishing and road trips. He had a passion for helping others and especially loved time spent with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Mel was a member of Southwest Church of Christ where he served as a Deacon. Survived by sons, Gary (Brenda) and Dan (Terry); three grandchildren, Aaron, Jeremy and Heather; 13 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his wife of 65 years, Eileen; grandson, Jason Coy; parents; three brothers; and one sister. Service, 11 a.m. Friday at Southwest Church of Christ, 1635 S Pueblo Blvd. Interment, Imperial Memorial Gardens.
