Maxine R. McCullar, 70, of Pueblo West, Colo., passed away June 21, 2011, in Colorado Springs, Colo. Survived by her children, Wayne (Kim) Simshauser of Pueblo, Larry (Julie) Simshauser of California, Wade (Mary) Simshauser of Colorado Springs and Rich (Kelly) Simshauser of Florence, Colo.; grandchildren, Nathan, Jason, Corey, Katie, Terri, Justin, Kylie and Kaylee; and great-grandchildren, Myla, Owen and Emma. Maxine was born to Earl George and Margaret Laura Reed on July 24, 1940, in Colorado Springs, Colo. There will be no viewing. Cremation, Montgomery & Steward Crematorium. Service, 2 p.m. Monday, June 27, 2011, in the Montgomery & Steward Chapel. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Pikes Peak Hospice through Montgomery & Steward Funeral Directors, 1317 N.   3. Maxine and her brother Robert attended school with me at Drennan. I remember her as a vibrant, happy, and very pretty teenager. Her mother and my mother were great friends. God Bless her family. God be with you all.
