Maxine Palermo, 91, passed away peacefully on Nov. 18, 2019. She was preceded in death by her parents, Mickey and Mary Brasselero; her husband of 61 years, Paul “Lindy”; and her daughter, Patty. Maxine is survived by her daughters, Janet (Jim) Hunter and Linda (Daniel) Pruss; grandsons, Ryan (Christine) and Kevin; great-grandsons, Logan and Samuel; brother, Mike (Karen) Brasselero; and numerous nieces and nephews. Maxine was a life long resident of Pueblo. In her early years of marriage she worked in the CF&I Minnequa Steelworks Office. Once her first child was born, she became a full-time homemaker devoted to her family. Weekly Sunday dinner get-togethers were a must, and she made every holiday special with her generous heart. She loved spending time with her grandsons, enjoyed numerous crafts, and bowled for many years. Special thanks to the loving care givers at Sharmar Village. Viewing 9:30 a.m. Saturday Nov. 23, 2019, followed by funeral Mass at 10:00 a.m. both at St. Mary’s Help of Christians Catholic Church, 307 E. Mesa Ave. In lieu of food or flowers, donations may be made to PDI of Pueblo, 2828 Granada Blvd, Pueblo, CO 81005 or St. Mary’s Church, 217 E. Mesa Avenue, Pueblo, CO  81006.
