  5. I did not know Maureen very well, but she was always very friendly and looked up and greeted you when walking by her desk. You must be missing her very much. I have the deepest sympathy for your loss and wish that time will heal the wounds.

  6. I didn’t know Maureen very well, but it is obvious that she was loved by all who knew her. I realize that life can throw it’s twists into our lives, but it is because of people like Maureen, who was cared for by all, that makes it all worth it. May God show you the way Maureen.

  7. I had the honor of working with Maureen at Spanish Peaks. She will be remembered as a kind and patient person. She often had friendly comments and weekly remarks like, “it must be Tuesday and time for group.” She was genuinely interested in what was going on. I pray that her joy in the next life will far outway the pains and suffering of this one.

  8. I always enjoyed Maureen’s pleasant, gracious demeanor. She helped brighten my days, and I missed her when she left. I was saddened to hear that she passed away so soon after leaving work. I’m sure you miss her greatly. Sincerely, Toni Christensen SPMHC

  9. Words are hard to come by at a time like this. May God give you strength to go through the loss of your loved one. Maureen was such a sweetie. She will be remembered by the SPMHC staff.

  10. What a wonderful person Maureen was! I remember how interested she always was when I talked of my family. She loved looking at all the photos I would show from trips I would take. I chuckle as I think of the green plants that she would put a silk flower in just to make it look better. We laughed together about coming to work with bananas, and she and I both loved red licorice. She was a buffer between me and my payeeship clients, and I always appreciated her gentleness yet firmness with the clients when needed. We have missed Maureen already, and know that your family will miss her tremendously as well. I know that you have many wonderful memories of her in your lifetime, and hope that these memories will help you through this sorrowful time of your life. God bless! Nancy Shugars

  11. I miss her very much. I wish I could say goodbye one last time. I will make many prayers for Maureen.

  12. Maureen’s presence in my life the past few years was such a positive one. I deeply miss her gentle smile and wry humor, and her ability to keep life in perspective; it goes without saying that I feel fortunate to have had the privilege to work with Maureen on a daily basis.

Also, Maureen was extremely fortunate to have you, Joanie, as her daughter. Your willingness to come and care for her during her last two months demonstrates a strong bond that is so admirable. You have shown incredible strength, love and graciousness at a difficult time. I just hope that my daughter takes as good care of me when my time comes, as you did for your mother!

May you and the entire family feel continued strength, inner peace, and joy in your lives.

  13. For the family of Maureen: It was a great pleasure to have known and worked with Maureen. She was funny, uplifting to all, happy, a pleasure to be around. She left us all too quickly, but will be forever remembered in our hearts. My heart goes out to your family. May God be with all of you during this difficult time. Maureen will always hold a special place in my heart.
    Sincerely,
    Christie
