Mathew Louis Chiaro, 91, passed away December 9, 2005. Preceded in death by his first wife, Maude Strilich in 1961; siblings, Nick, Tony, Esther Ruggles and Mary Massaroni; and brother-in-law, Ralph Porco. Survived by Lee Bain Chiaro; his children, Patricia (Edward) Rooney of Kingman, Ariz. and Barbara (Don) Musso of Pueblo; siblings, Jenny Porco, James (Ethel) Chiaro and Jean (John) Zupancic, all of Pueblo; grandchildren, Patricia (Kurt) Byrnes, Pam Musso, Buck Griffeth, Tina (Ken) Paxton, Jennifer Musso and Lianna (Mike) Greer; 11 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild; special friends, Bill and Gerri Jones of Pueblo; numerous nieces and nephews. Mathew was born to Anthony and Olivia Chiaro on July 1, 1914, in Pastina, Italy. He retired from CF&I as a wiremill foreman after 40 years of service. Member of Family Worship Center. Viewing in the Montgomery & Steward Chapel Tuesday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. The casket will remain closed at the service. Funeral service, 9:30 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 14, 2005, at Family Worship Center, 801 W. 4th, with Pastor Dave Smith officiating. Interment will follow at Roselawn Cemetery.
