Maryella Pearson

Maryella Pearson, 81, passed away Aug. 28, 2010. Survived by her children, Mary Kay (Steve) Witte of Pueblo, Ken (Vicki) Pearson of Carson City, Nev., Doug (Bonita) Pearson of Dillon, Colo.; brother, Francis Shake of Prescott, Ariz.; grandchildren, Evan Pearson, Axel Pearson, Tori Pearson, Garrett Roder, Kenny Witte and Ruby Hornback; and numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Pearson; son, Chuck Pearson; two brothers and one sister. Maryella was born Sept. 25, 1928, in Albin, Wyo., lived in Estes Park, Colo. for over 50 years, and recently resided at the Pueblo Regent, in Pueblo, Colo. She worked 33 ½ years as an Estes Park Municipal Court Clerk and never missed a court date. She was a founding member of the Estes Park Quilt Guilde. She volunteered at R.S.V.P., Crossroads Food Pantry, Elizabeth Guild Thrift Shop, Estes Valley Hospice, Habitat for Humanity and Meals on Wheels. She served as an officer for Estes Park Senior Center, and was an elder and deacon at the Community Church. There will be no viewing. Cremation, Montgomery & Steward Crematorium. Memorial service, 2 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 31, 2010, at Pueblo Regent, 100 San Carlos Rd., in Pueblo.
