Mary Teresa Emery, 88, passed away June 28, 2020. She was the proud mother of 11 children. She is survived by Maria (Don) McGrath of Colorado City, Catherine (Larry) Bennett of Toledo, Ohio, Erin Emery of Colorado Springs, Kevin (Laura) Emery of Colorado Springs, Martin (Kelly) Emery of Berthoud, Sheila Emery of Toledo, Ohio, Noreen (John) Cheyne of Colorado Springs, Terrence Emery of Colorado Springs, Earl Emery III of Colorado Springs and Mary Frances (Scott) Peacock of Fort Collins. She is also survived by 20 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by husband, Earl E. Emery, and son, Brian, who died in infancy. Mary was born to Thomas Orton and Catherine Kelleher on Nov. 22, 1931, in Youngstown, Ohio. She was a homemaker who enjoyed her faith, family, and traveling. She was a member of Shrine of St. Therese Catholic Church. The family would like to express sincere gratitude for the excellent care and kindness shown by the heroes who work at Pueblo Genesis Care Center. Her days at the Pueblo Regent Retirement Community were among the best of her life. She enjoyed the great food and fellowship at Polito’s Beer Barrel. Rosary, 7 p.m. Sunday, July 5, and funeral Mass, 10 a.m. Monday, July 6, both at Shrine of St. Therese, 300 Goodnight Ave. Interment, Roselawn Cemetery.
