Mary Lorraine Snapp, known to her friends as Lorraine, departed this life on July 26, 2004, in Pueblo, Colorado, at the age of 77. She was preceded in death by her beloved son, David Scott Moore; her beloved husband of thirty-seven years, Otto W. 'Tink' Snapp; and her parents, Theresa and Martin Simonich. She is survived by a grandson, Connor W. Moore of Alder, Montana; sisters, Betty (Don A.) De Vore of Pueblo, Colorado and Jean Rechis of Sandy Utah; stepsons, Bruce R. Snapp of Alexandria, Virginia and Ronald W. Snapp of Norfolk, Virginia; and numerous close friends, including Debbie Hilsenroth, a very special friend who accompanied Lorraine on her earthly journey home to life eternal. Lorraine met her husband, Tink, in the 1960's while working at the Minnequa Bank. After her marriage in 1965, she became a legal secretary with Predovich and Ward, Attorneys at Law, predecessor to the Banner, Bower, Chostner, Kwitek & Ohlsen, P.C. law firm. She retired as a legal secretary in 1989 to enjoy shopping with her friends, Dorothy 'Dot' Brunjak and Rose 'Rosie' Masterantonio, and visiting with her neighbors, the Ryans, the Watts, Maurita Casper and others. Lorraine died a believer in Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior. She loved her church and has been a member of the Cathedral of the Sacred Heart for many years. Her love of life, love of her friends and consideration for people in general will be sadly missed in the community. Funeral Mass will be held 2 p.m. Thursday, July 29, 2004, at Cathedral of the Sacred Heart, 11th and Grand, with the Very Reverend Father Roger Dorcy as celebrant. Interment will follow at Mountain View Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the YMCA Community Campus, C/O Montgomery & Steward Funeral Directors, 1317 N. Main St., Pueblo, Colorado 81003.
