Mary Kontz

Mary Kontz, R.N., Ph.D. Mary passed away in Pueblo, Colo., on Nov. 14, 2011, following a long illness. Raised in Luverne, Minn., Mary graduated from the University of Miami in Florida with R.N. degrees. She had a successful career as a dedicated nursing educator and administrator. She was employed at Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami, Fla., and most recently, at Colorado State University-Pueblo as associate dean in the department of nursing. She was preceded in death by her father and mother, Milo and Loretta; and survived by her brother, Robert (Deb) Kontz; a nephew and three nieces, two grand nieces, many relatives and friends. There will be no viewing. Cremation, Montgomery & Steward Crematorium. A family Mass will be held in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Rest in eternal peace Mary. . . sadly missed, forever in our hearts.
