Mary Catherine Sandoval, 71, went to be with her Lord, Jesus Christ on November 21, 2010, in Pueblo, Colo. Survived by her husband of nearly 55 years, John A. Sandoval; children, Anna (Mike) Fusco, Trinidad, Elaine Suazo, Pueblo West, Deborah (Mark) Buchanan, Pueblo, Kathy (George) Lawrence, Trinidad, Betty (Jacob) Hernandez, Fresno, Calif.; siblings, Evelyn (Leroy) Valdez, Christine Vasquez, Chrystella Weaver, Julia Bollinger, Lee Gonzales, Joe Baca, Ray Baca; grandchildren, Lori, Julie, Melissa, Donna, Larry, Diane, Kodi, Meagan, Jacob, Jordan, Justin; and nine great-grandchildren, as well as numerous other family members and friends. Mary was born June 26, 1939, in Starkville, Colo., to Amador and Rosalia Baca. Mary and John were married on March 17, 1956, in Raton, New Mexico. She loved her church, camping and shopping. Special thanks to all those who supported her during her stay in the hospital and Joni Fair Hospice House in Pueblo. At her request, there will be no viewing. Cremation, Montgomery & Steward Crematorium. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 24, 2010, at First Pentecostal Church, 10375 Santa Fe Trail Dr., in Trinidad, Colo.   1. Hi grandma. Just laying here in bed wishing i could see you one more time 🙁 sometimes i tend to think about you and what a great lady you were. I miss you very much. This is the second christmas without you i can hardly believe how fast the time has gone by. I love you grams and things just arent the same without you. Just so you know you are thought of everyday and just not today by all of us. There is a small piece of our hearts that will always be missing. I love u gram and have a merry christmas.

She was a beautiful lady. I remember looking over her way in chruch during Jordan and Tiffani’s wedding day, and granda Catherine was glowing with happiness. She had such a lovely spirit about her.
