Marty Henderson, 80, passed away Nov. 11, 2021. Survived by his wife of 59 years, Sami Henderson; daughter, Teri (Ted) Skube; granddaughters, Jennifer (Shane) Thornton, Renee Skube (Steve McNamara); and grandsons, Noah and Kade Thornton and Ryker Hayes.
Marty was born Nov. 17, 1940, in Pueblo, Colo. He was a painter and the best handyman. Marty was the best story teller, he had the gift to talk to anyone. He loved golf and being with his golf buddies.
Cremation, Montgomery & Steward Crematorium. A celebration of life to be announced at a later date.

Prayers to the family
I worked with Marty many years ago. I was just a young pup with descent skill I had already learned from my father, who also worked with Marty. I was placed with Marty and had the opportunity to work under his instruction for several years before being sent out on my own. I learned a lot from him skills and fine tuning of skills that have assisted me in success today. Oh and story telling, well let’s just say “He has left the building!” My condolences to all of his family, he was an awesome person.
I am so sorry for your loss. I worked with Marty for years and thought the world of him. He was a very good painter and friend. Let me know when you have his celebration of his life.

I am so sorry to hear about your dads passing. Thinking of you during this difficult time.
My favorite memory of him was of course was him coaching us in softball! He was always so kind, patient and a great role model for us all. Hugs and prayers to you and your family..
