Martha Lou (Rose) Cokeley, 83, passed away on Dec. 18, 2022. Survived by her husband of 51 years, Tex Wade Cokeley; two daughters, Deborah Lou Patterson and Teri R. Vukelich; and sister, Grace Imogene Donely.
She is preceded in death by her twin sister, Mary Sue Rose; mother, Grace Elizabeth Rose, Oct. 6, 1996, at the age of 91; father, Estes Rose, April 19, 1969 (64); siblings, Sarah Viola DeSalvo, Estes Eugene Rose, Naomi Ruth Van Meter, David Rose, and Melvin Kenneth Rose.
Martha was born on Feb. 8, 1939, in Jackson, Tenn. She owned the Belmont Skelly gas station until 1979 and was a secretarial administrator until the age of 80 years old. She was a motorcyclist in her younger years and enjoyed skiing and all sports. She love, loved Starbucks and Mexican food and was a member of Amazing Grace Fellowship.
