Resided in: Centennial, CO

Marsha K. Wickwar was born April 11, 1952, in Pueblo, Colorado. She died on February 17, 2006, in Littleton, Colorado. Marsha grew up in Pueblo, Colorado where she attended South High School. She was married to Robert 'Bob' Wickwar on January 5, 1980. They renewed their vows on September 14, 1986. In addition to her husband, she is survived by her father, Don Hansen; 2 children, Michael, age 17 and Valerie, age 26; mother-in-law, Ramona Smith of Denver; uncle, Gail (Beverly) Coats; aunt, Jean (Alvin) Rose, both of Miami, Okla. She is preceded in death by her mother, Virginia Garner; brother, Richard Hansen; grandmother, Rose Hafer; father-in-law, Howard Smith; stepmother, Kathleen Hansen; and uncle, Henry Hansen. Marsha was very passionate about everything that she did. This was demonstrated in her most recent work as a baker for Alfalfa's/Wild Oats Market. She was very proud of her department and with good reason. Everyone in the family feels very lucky to have had the passion and love directed at them. Her family meant the absolute world to her. Marsha also loved to travel and was solely responsible for getting the whole family on vacation at the same time. One of the most memorable events occurred on a trip to Hawaii. On that trip the family posed for a picture with a parrot on Marsha's shoulder. She hated having that bird on her shoulder and gave Bob Static for years for 'letting that guy put that bird on her.' Marsha's life is remembered at a visitation Wednesday, February 22, 2006, from 5 to 8 p.m. and a memorial service, 11 a.m. Thursday, February 23, 2006, both at Olinger Hampden Mortuary, 8600 E. Hampden Ave., Denver, CO 80231. She is laid to rest with a committal service Friday, February 24, 2006, at Mountain View Cemetery in Pueblo, Colorado. 1. Again, our sincere sympathy on your loss. What a lovely tribute for Marsha. I still remember her growing up next door to us. I think she will always be the “little girl” next door. Dorothy
