  1. Mrs. Acord was my grandmother’s Avon rep and friend for as long as I can remember. I ran into Mrs. Acord at St Mary Corwin hospital in the ER just before they admitted her. Her granddaughter told me that she had been remaining in bed for a couple of days and that just was not like her. You could tell she wasn’t feeling well, but she still seem to be of good spirits. She will be missed. She always had such interesting stories to tell. She could even make you laugh even when she wasn’t intending to. I always ran into her at other funerals here in town and so after visiting so many different ones, I can understand why she did not want one. The family has my deepest condolences, she was a good woman.

  2. Marjorie was my Avon representative for many years. We found we had people we mutually knew from Rocky Ford and La Junta and had many chats about them and other things we had in common. She loved her family so much. I will miss her.
