Marion William Benton

Marion William Benton, 79, passed away on Sept. 19, 2023. Survived by siblings, James Owen Jr., Patricia, Nancy Louise, Bobby and Glena; daughters, Tara, Misty and Meghan; grandchildren, Fiona, Jason, Winter, Paige, Ireland and Hunter.
Preceded in death by his parents, James Owen Sr. and Lois Benton; and brother, Lovis.
Marion was born on Sept. 16, 1944, in Sabinal, Texas. He served 23 years as an active U.S. Marine before working for Lady Fair and Wal-mart.
Marion enjoyed being a part of the church and spending time with his loved ones.
