Guestbook

  1. Mr. Sweetser was a familiar face to me growing up in Arvada. He and his wife lived at the end of my street. Growing up I walked, rode my bike and eventually drove by his house countless times and each time, if he was out, I was guaranteed a cheerful smile and wave. Sometimes me and my friends would stop to chat with him and he would gladly stop to share a conversation with us. The best memory I have of him (and will never forget) is his pumkins, each Halloween he allowed me and the other kids on my street to pick a pumkin. No matter how long we took, he would always patiently visit with us and smile as we chose the perfect one. He was a kind man.
My condolences to his family, I am sorry for your loss.

  2. We so enjoyed being neighbors of Mr. Sweetser. He was a genuinely kind gentleman. Our kids loved him, and were so sorry to hear of his passing. They will never forget getting their Halloween pumpkins from him every year, and his cheerful waves as they went by his home.

Please accept our sincere sympathy in your loss.
