  1. Dear Families,
Our hearts are with you all, as you each endure the sadness of loosing an integral force…Mario will be missed, but he will always be loved and cherished, as a really good guy!!!
Meeting each family separately, with sweet associations, and then years later, through “divine intervention” was a “perfect union“ for more LOVE to flourish, growing in respect.
Thank you God for gifting Mario to our Earth! His genuine love for family and friends now leaves us all with a gift of sweet memories…so many favorite times to reflect upon…bringing comfort & smiles.
We are blessed to have known Mario, and we are grateful for his legacy of friendship and love, which lives on,
    in all of you!
    Love & Peace
    Forever Friends,

  3. We met Carol and Mario through my daughter and her husband Ty. You could clearly see the love between them, their devotion to their families and to their friends. Mario was such a warm and caring individual and would do anything for anyone. It’s difficult to understand why the good guys leave us way too soon, too many of our loved ones have suffered with the effects of cancers and the losses are too many. Please know that we will keep the memories of Mario dear to us and that we will honor him and his love if his family daily. Your family is in our thoughts and prayers.

  4. Carol (and Mario Jr. whom I also knew) and the rest of the family: so devastated at the loss of such a huge personality and bright light. I worked with Mario at Griffis Blessing for many years, and I’ve never known someone with more integrity and more orneriness all at the same time! He was a wonderful professional resource and an exceptional friend. Love and prayers for all of you as you deal with this gigantic loss.

  5. Tiffany and family, I am so sorry for your loss. Papa Mario was a wonderful man. He loved his family and would do anything for them. Sending you all love and prayers.

  6. Mario, Ginger and family,

Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family during this difficult time. While we did not know your dad, we’re certain he was a wonderful man, because both of your wonderful, loving people. We wish you peace and love as you move throughout this journey.

    God Bless
    Bob & Kenny

  7. In this sorrowful time, we would like to extend our heartfelt condolences to Carol, Ty, and Mario’s family. Mario was a remarkable man that bought many years of enjoyment to our beloved step mom. May you find some peace and comfort during this difficult time… Randy, Kelly, Dustin, Kain, Kirsten, and Zachary.

  8. It is hard for me to believe that Mario is gone, especially since he was two years younger then me. Mario was the kind of guy, the kind of larger then life personality that a person remembers. He was in charge of maintenance at the Sheriff’s Office. I will not forget him. I am sorry for your loss. Rest in Peace Mario. I am sure we will all meet again.

  9. My sister and I worked with Mario at the Sheriff’s Department, when he was in charge of the maintenance of the facility. His personality was as great as he was. Being our Grandparents came from Italy, we talked about his coming over as a child. He seemed to be so gruff, but he had a heart of gold. Always would talk to you, and was there if we needed anything. I liked that he didn’t put up with much, and that Italian man came out, when needed. Told you like it was. I am so very sorry for the loss of your awesome dad, and grandfather. I will always remember Mario. Rest in Peace Amici

  10. Carol… You are in my thoughts and prayers. I will always cherish the memories of the time spent with Mario! Love, Paul

  11. Our Condolences to Carol , Lisa, Mario Jr. and Tiffany and their families. Mario will be sorely missed but his legacy will live on through his children and grandchildren. Gary and I have been in Montana this past year waiting for our house in Pueblo to be completed but our thoughts and prayers are with you all.

  12. We are heart broken for your loss. Mario was such an incredibly positive soul. He helped my sweet step-mom Carol enjoy so many wonderful years with a great man. Our Tekavec family refers to Carol as “Nina”. Nina and Mario together were such a positive impact on our extended families. Mario you always showed such openness, love and support for all of us. We will miss you so much. I love you all around the world and way past Heaven.

  13. Mario jr. and family, I am so sorry to hear about the loss of you dad. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. It is never easy losing anyone and nothing I can say will make the pain any less. I am here if you ever need to talk. My deepest sympathies to you.

  14. Mario will forever be in the hearts of each person he crossed paths with. My sincere thoughts and prayers are with all of the families, especially Mario Jr and Tiffany, grandkids, Carol, Ty, and Lisa. My you all find little peace over time. Love you ❤️

  15. Mario, Tiffany and family, I am so sorry about your dad. I remember in grade school when your mom and dad would be at school to help or for a field trip. Your mom was so sweet and your dad was so fun! Everyone always to goof around with “Big Mario!” Please let me do if I can do anything!

  16. Our thoughts and prayers go out to his immediate and extended family. Mario was a loving, friendly man who will be greatly missed by all who knew him. May the Comforter wrap His arms around Carol and his family.
