Marijane Spear, 88, passed away on July 19, 2026. Survived by sisters, Kay Perko, Pat McKinney, and Diane Kim Chantala; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by her parents; and husband, Gene Spear
Marijane was born to Frank and Helen Chantala on February 2, 1938, in Pueblo, Colo. She was a pet store owner and retired as an Enrolled Agent Tax Preparer in June of 2021.
Committal service, 10:00 a.m., Monday, August 10, 2026 at Mountain View Cemetery Chapel Mausoleum in Pueblo.

I am sorry to hear of Marijane’s passing. My sympathy to her Sisters and family. I worked for Marijane in the grooming part of the pet shop for a time in the 1970’s.
I can’t help but picture Marijane standing next to Gene, with Carl, in his finest show cut, standing proud on Marijane’s left and Susie in the front looking up at Marijane and Gene… smiling… Together again.

My sincere sympathy and condolences to her sisters, Kay, Pat annd Diane, and relatives that she has left as I know they will miss her very much. She loved her standard poodles, and she was an excellent groomer and loved showing her dog/s at kennel club dog shows. Marijane is now in Heaven with her husband, Gene❤️ and I send my love to all❤️
