Marie “Therese” Figueroa, 77, passed away on Monday, March 13, 2023. She was mother to Ramona, Andy, and Mario; grandmother (Nana) to Chantelle, Brandon, Korrie, and Maya; great-grandmother (Nana) to Josh, Arayah, and Anias; sister to Charlene Gooden, Lucy Fait, Margy Joe, and Vin, Phil, Fred, Paul, Tim, and Karl Gonzalez; cousin to Ido Domenech; friend to Donna and Josie; and many other family members and friends.

Preceded in death by her parents, Juvencio and Geraldine Gonzalez.

Therese was born on September 18, 1945, in Chicago, Illinois. She worked as a Case Manager for Pueblo County Social Services for 25 years. She enjoyed scrapbooking with friends, spending time with her grandchildren, feeding the ducks at City Park, and relaxing on her porch after working in the yard.

Funeral Mass, 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, March 21, 2023, at Holy Family Catholic Church, 2827 Lakeview Avenue. Interment, Imperial Memorial Gardens. Online condolences at www.MontgomerySteward.com

    • Thank you Maria. I remember going over your house when we were younger. I was so sorry to hear about your mom too. You’re mom was a wonderful person, and I’m glad they had each other. It brings peace knowing that they are together.
