Marie Ruth Cuchiara Carleo Fabian, 98, passed away July 8, 2022. Survived by her children, Theresa Poll, Donna (Eddie) Stephens, Anthony M. (Carol) Carleo, David L. (Sherrie) Carleo and Diane Perkins; sister, Kate Santarelli; 16 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild. Preceded in death by her brother, Charles R. Cuchiara; sons-in-law, Leo G. Poll and Dennis Perkins. Marie was born to Modesto and Anne Cuchiara on Aug. 13, 1923, in Pueblo. She worked at Solo Foods and as a seamstress for Spangler’s Draperies. Marie enjoyed volunteering at Our Lady of the Meadows Church, cooking meals for her large family, Denver Broncos and Notre Dame Football, and the mountains of Colorado. She was a member of Ladies Fidelity Lodge #56. Cremation, Montgomery & Steward Crematorium.   5. My deepest sympathy to Marie’s family. I will always remember Marie for her lovely smile and kind words. She was such a lovely lady. I always looked forward to seeing her at church. Prayers to Donna, Eddie and family.

  6. I delivered Meals on Wheels with Jan Fullerton to Mrs Fabian for a long time. She was our favorite. ALWAYS friendly and in a good mood. We haven’t been doing that for a while, as she went on to live at Cappella. We have missed this sweet lady. May she Rest In Peace.
