Marian K. Steffen (Poindexter), 79, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Dec.7, 2017. Gone from our arms but never our hearts. Survived by her husband, Delbert; children, Lori (Carl) Prophet and Jeffrey (Amy) Steffen; granddaughters, Corie, Kellie, Taylor and Bailey; and brother, William Poindexter. Marian was born to Fred and Ida Mae Poindexter on June 10, 1938, in La Junta, Colo. She was a teacher in Fort Monmouth, N.J. and with District 60 for many years. Marian enjoyed family, her church, traveling and teaching. Member of Majestic Baptist Church. Cremation, Montgomery & Steward Crematorium. Memorial service, 2 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 12, 2017, at Majestic Baptist Church, 494 E. Hemlock Dr., Pueblo West. Memorials may be made directly to Majestic Baptist Church. So sorry to hear this news and for your loss. We had so many fun times with your Mom and Dad in B.Y.F. and I enjoyed the time they spent with us. Your Mom was a wonderful person. So glad her suffering is over and she is in the arms of Jesus now. May God bless you all during this rough time and wipe away your tears. Love to you all.
