Margaret R. Beard, 84, peacefully earned her wings Jan. 2, 2011, surrounded by loving family and friends. Survived by her children, Kevin Beard, Luanne Beard, both of Pueblo and Lee (Joyce) Beard of Brownsburg, Ind.; sister, Sr. Francine Barber of Seattle, Wash.; grandchildren, Zach and Nick Beard of Brownsburg, Ind.; and granddog, Landry. Preceded in death by her husband, Lue W. Beard. Margaret was born Jan. 30, 1926, in Pueblo, to Frank and Josephine Barber. She retired from Mountain Bell. She was an awesome cook and enjoyed bingo and the Denver Broncos. There will be no viewing. Cremation, Montgomery & Steward Crematorium. Celebration of Margaret's life, 2 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 6, 2011, at First United Methodist Church, 310 W. 11th St., with the Rev. Dr. Rick Calhoun officiating.
