Maggie Drew Peters, 15, passed away Nov. 16, 2015. Survived by parents, Tim Peters and Karen Hopkins; sister, Ella Aspen Peters; grandmother, Sally Hopkins; many loving friends, cousins and extended family. Preceded in death by her grandparents, Marga and Zika Peters and Gifford Hopkins; and aunt, Annie Peters. Maggie was born on Dec. 8, 1999, in Juneau, Alaska. My heart aches for you. I am deeply sorry for the loss of your beloved Maggie.
Please remember you are not alone, for Psalms 34:18 assures you, “God is near to those that are broken at heart; and those crushed in spirit he saves.” Pray to Him for strength. Weep to Him when there are no words. May your precious memories of Maggie brighten your day and being a smile to your face. Draw comfort from the Bible’s promise, “And He (God) will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and Death Will Be No More, neither will mourning, nor outcry, nor pain be anymore…” (Revelation 21:4) With deepest sympathy.
Though I grew up in Rye, and many family members still live there, I did not have the pleasure of knowing this fine young lady. All my sympathy for your loss, and my you find comfort in your memories of her.
