Madlyn L. Taylor, 90, of Pueblo, Colo. passed away peacefully at home with family at her side on October 26, 2024. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph W. Taylor; parents, James and Katherine Ottino; in-laws, Leslie and Jennie Taylor; brothers, Joseph Ottino, John Ottino and James Ottino, brother-in-law, Athiel Taylor; and godson, Nathan Schneider. She is survived by her children, Joe (Rachel) Taylor, Kathy (Mark) Higdon, and Karen (Ernest) Romero; grandchildren, Daniel (Molly) Taylor, Meghan Taylor, Sarah (Scott Lawrence) Taylor, Rose (Levi) Holte, Mark Higdon, Ernie Romero, Ashley (Will) Franklin, Matt Romero; great-grandchildren, Arthur Holte, (baby to be) Holte, Ernie Romero, Liam Franklin, and (baby girl to be) Franklin; and godson, John Ottino.

Madlyn was born December 20, 1933, in Pueblo Colo. Graduating from Pueblo Catholic High in 1952. She was a member of St. Mary’s Church. She was a homemaker but more importantly she was the best mother we could have asked for.

The family would like to thank Sangre de Cristo Hospice, Complete Home Health Care, Audrey Gentile NP, Dr Stout, Dr Dawod, Dr Azar, Vince Linden and Meghan Taylor for the amazing care and support that they provided. Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. Tuesday, November 5, 2024, at St. Mary Church, 307 E. Mesa Ave. Interment, Imperial Memorial Gardens. Reception to follow at Imperial Gardens.
