Mable Emma Ellis went peacefully and ready to meet her Lord and Savior Oct. 5, 2012. Mable was born to Guy Richard and Rebecca Lee Mason Dec. 12, 1918, in Berryville, Ark. She is survived by daughter, Dixie Lee (Don) Mauger; grandsons, Donald L. Mauger and Douglas K. (Theresa) Mauger; great-grandsons, Mason Mauger and Garrett Mauger; step great-grandchildren, Christina and Jeffery; sister, Helen (Howard) Smith of Rocky Ford; and sister-in-law, Velma Mason Leggott of Fowler; and many dear nieces and nephews. She was united on Friday with her beloved husband, Waldon Ellis; infant daughter; parents; brothers and sisters; and many other family members and friends who had preceded her. After retirement from Releford's Greenhouse, she lived many years at Presbyterian Towers, which she loved. She also had many happy times at her cabin in Custer County. Family expresses thanks to Dr. James Stjernholm for the many years of tender care and also to Life Care Center for the compassionate care she received. As per her request, there will be no viewing. She will be interred 2 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 11, 2012, at Hillcrest Cemetery in Rocky Ford. The service will be conducted by Pastor Ron McPheeters. A reception will follow.   1. We will miss Mable and her sweet pleasant personality. I’m sure she’s happy to have rejoined Walden and all of her loved ones in heaven. We look forward to seeing her again, too.
