Lynn Dianne Shaver, 58, born June 4, 1956, in Pueblo, passed away peacefully Nov. 19, 2014. Survived by her brother, Les (Dianne) Shaver, nephews, Matt Shaver and Seth (Stephanie) Shaver; grand nieces, Abby and Sophia Shaver and cousins. Preceded in death by loving parents, Oscar L. and Gertrude W. Shaver, special aunts and uncles, Delbert and Pauline Bussey and Bob and Ilomae Burns; and grand niece, Autumn Shaver.
Given numerous enriching experiences through her parents' unconditional love, Lynn enjoyed attending school, swimming and bowling. She loved to take trips with family in their truck and camper, fishing by day and sitting at the campfire by night. Eventually her 'office' became her special domain. She would teach school or take care of her doll patients, study her animal cards and books, check the weather forecast daily or simply relax by coloring, drawing or painting.
Lynn was blessed with extended family the last two years of her life through Pueblo Community Resources who provided her safe harbor, loving care and forever friends. Special caregivers, Kayla and Samantha and countless others added to her joyful journey through life. In recent months she decided that 'going shopping!' was her favorite pastime.
Sincere gratitude goes to numerous staff at Parkview Hospital and Joni Fair Hospice House. To Pueblo Community Resources, 'Thank you' for playing such a positive role in Lynn's life.

Dear Shaver family,
We were saddened to hear of Lynn’s passing. We were your neighbors on Kennedy Street. I remember going to your house to sell Girl Scout Cookies and Lynn would hide behind your mom and peek out to say hi. Rest in peace, Lynn.
