Louis A, Nava

Louis A. Nava, 80, of Pueblo, Colorado, passed away July 17, 2006. Survived by his loving wife, Hazel Nava, of the family home; granddaughter, Jessica (Luis) Rosalies of Las Vegas, Nev. and two great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by his parents, Rudolph and Pauline Nava; and his son, Michael Nava. Louis was born on March 15, 1926, in Pryor, Colorado, and was a longtime Pueblo resident. Member of Pueblo Christian Center. After graduation from high school, Louis joined the Army Air Corps where he mastered his trade of Morse code. He then worked for the Santa Fe Railroad and retired after 38 years of service. Later he volunteered for the same-day-surgery unit at St. Mary Corwin Hospital. He loved fishing and traveling. Viewing Wednesday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the funeral home (Please use new entrance on Main street). Funeral service will be held 10 a.m. Thursday, July 20, 2006, at Pueblo Christian Center, 1605 S. Pueblo Blvd., with Pastor Roger Ferguson officiating.
