Lorraine Mary Engelbrecht, 88, passed away peacefully on Dec. 13, 2015. She is survived by her children, Paul (Marian), Sandra (Phil) Boese, Susan (Gary) Bokelmann and Ron (Carol Lee); 12 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. Lorraine was born in Pueblo, Colo. on Mar. 22, 1927, to Edward and Helen Schlotfeldt. She graduated from Central High School and worked for Crews Beggs Department Store and the Pueblo telephone company before marrying the love of her life in 1947. John and Lorraine shared 65 wonderful years of marriage before he passed away in 2013. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Edward and two sisters, Helen Jane and Vivian. A lifelong member of First Baptist Church, Lorraine served as the church's Sunday School Superintendent and later financial secretary for more than 30 years. She and John were very active in the antique automobile hobby, touring extensively throughout the United States as members of several clubs. Above all, Lorraine was devoted to her faith, her family and her friends, all of whom will deeply miss her ever-present smile, kindness and generosity. Service, 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 19, 2015, in the Montgomery Steward Chapel, Pueblo, with Barbara Graham and Dan Schumacher officiating. Interment, Imperial Memorial Gardens following at 1:30 p.m. Memorials may be made to Pueblo County Historical Society through Montgomery & Steward Funeral Directors, 1317 N.
